I‘m sorry. Whatever you‘re trying to say is not coming through. What trump is doing is the same all fascists als billionaires have been doing for the last thirty years, just accellerated. They build up walls against comptetition and destruct safeguards against authoritarianism.

What i meant was the system that profits off hard working people and supplies only the rich minority.

I don’t know, maybe I am misunderstanding what you’re proposing, and if I knew more about what you wanted to do I could speak more directly to it. What are you wanting to destroy, what do you want things to look like?

The core of my comment wasn’t "say"ing something, it was asking you a question. The system is fucked, yes. How are you proposing to fix it?

There is no fixing currently. We need to take out billionaires funds. They’ve taken over public opinion by corrupting the media and buying governments. They own essential supply lines in a lot of countries.

What we need is immediately turn essentials over to the people. Food, water, electricity, heat, transportation, living. No houses can stay empty while people are homeless. There can not be for profit companies controlling the food supply. Essentials are not for profit. The media also may not be privatized. Either journalist coops or nonprofits.

Okay. All sounds perfect. How? Since they’ve taken over public opinion, a lot of the options are more limited than they would be.

Elect officials who will do it? Violent revolution? Something else? How?

            1. gather as many people who think this way as possible
            2. help each other build supply and communication away from centralization
            3. take part in as many nonviolent protests as possible
            4. call to strikes on fashist companies
            5. organize across borders
            6. read the popular literature (CIA resistance handbook for germany, anarchist cookbook, etc)

I cant say what will happen when all those points have been followed by a lot of people. Either, the situation will improve or more and more people must be gathered.

The US is in a shitty situation and there is no fast way out. It has been long coming and everyone who could have participated in demonstrations but didnt has to admit fault.

Now there comes the long road to redemption. Buckle up and start marching. The worst thing to do now is nothing or saying it wont work. Thats how we all got here.

Yeah, maybe. The issue is that none of that (except #4) has anything to do with constraining or controlling centralized power. It’s not like it goes away if you’re not looking at it.

IDK, maybe what you’re talking about is just the precursor to setting up the better way, establishing some kind of unification that can fight back once it’s grown enough and be a decent place to live in the meantime. It could make sense.

I agree. All those things are only part of the way.

I just read this very interesting but cruelly detailed article about how we got here. Its important for people to break this down for those with lower reading comprehension.

In any case, the us is now an autocracy in the making and reversing that will take hell of a lot of effort. Only after that can the methods that installed this be disabled because it needs broader systemic change.

Of course violent revolution would be an option but I think it should be a last resort.
