Das ganze ist natürlich durch ein durchschaubarer Trick, sich mit unentschlossenen Wählern doch noch über die 5% Grenze zu hieven. Die FDP wird nicht aufhören zu existieren bloß weil man aus dem Bundestag fliegt, wie beim letzten Mal. Dazu sind ihre Unterstützer zu mächtig. Womöglich werden wir aber dann ein weiteres anstrengendes Logo-Redesign ertragen müssen.
They have just one minister left in federal government, Volker Wissing. He quit the party though, and the reasons he gave for wanting to finish his term somehow make me think that he actually is a decent guy. The party used to be good for post-war Germany, I truly believe that as a socialist-leaning guy. However, nobody needs the FDP nowadays because while they claim to represent liberal values, they’re actually just a party for the 1%. All they stand for is “taxes down, shrink or dismantle government institutions, every should fight for himself”. Only neoliberal trash left with them.
