I think the pebble was one of the first big smart watches, and here is a picture of mine paying tribute to my other hobby, retro computing.

I’ve got somewhat mixed feelings about the Pebble. It was great for its time, but it didn’t look that great - esp. the later version with limited colors and huge bezel. Also, I could never be bothered to start development - it felt too much like going back to early MS-DOS days (C, limited memory, …). And finally, there was this graceless death in the middle of a Kickstarter to a version that seemed like a better compromise than the ones before.
