at first some will come, but reddit is still more known and convenient, imho
I don’t disagree, but I refuse to install their crappy mobile app so I’m gonna take this opportunity to “join the bet” on more Fedi stuff.
Mastodon has been great since the Twitter exodus, so I’m hopeful we can get something going on Lemmy as well.
Let’s hope then, that it will boom like Mastodon did. Although iOS users still loose nothing. Mlem can’t even search right now, had to use browser to join c/spacestation14
On the other note, maybe popularizing lemmy a bit with some project-wide announcements/events or fork advertising would help?
I’ve never used Lemmy or Mastodon before, so I gotta figure it out.
