I sort of find this funny because it’s the reverse of how things usually go for me. I usually like the art of commercial Japanese releases but the story often does not pull me enough to bother, while I often like the story of Western indies but the art is not as appealing. Here, the art is lovely but the story isn’t something that really appeals to me. I might try it if word-of-mouth says things that suggest I might enjoy it.
same 😅
For what it is worth, a friend did talk about their game Stellifier and it seems like something I would enjoy more. It’s nice to see original English indie creators succeed enough to make several different otome too.
