Seems like Anet remembered why t1 legendaries were so popular. No bullshit required for that set, no raids, no WvW, no PvP. Maybe it’s just time and effort again.
Plus it’s obsidian armor and it doesn’t look epilepsy inducing :) - I can’t stand all the flashy eye candy the game has to offer :D
It’s gonna look pretty cool on my Thief, I think 😍
Then we’ll probably rock the same outfit mate :D Gotta grab some gold and mats before it releases, though.
Not a fan of the look for any set but heavy, but I’m super pumped to have a pathway to legendary armor through content I prefer to play without being forced into content I don’t enjoy at all!
This may very well convince me to set a long term goal of unlocking full legendary armor and full legendary runes, which would easily keep me involved in GW2 for many more years to come.
I’ve been on an extended hiatus since last fall due to burnout and some IRL difficulties, but seeing all this news about the new expansion has me ready to get back into it once I finish up my summer traveling!
Ehh, too tacky. Do we know if they come with animations / transformation too?
Ehh, too tacky
Yeah, it’s again the luxury top tier stuff means complex fancy design approach. I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes with animations - that also counts as kind of a selling point for leggy armor beside the stat change on the fly ooc and availability per account
Without context I’d say that linked image shows new outfits from gemstore
What they show overall is rather disappointing for that price. SO says 25€ is industry standard but I was hoping for 15€ - I’m in the “living story as expansion- kind of season pass” camp
No info on that, yet.
Would be nice to know if they also need provisioners tokens. Been collecting them for a year now to get either the raid or wvw armor. Might save them now when we have more info about that.
Without knowing the effects, animations & dye-ability there is not much point to judge them as is.
The light one looks fugly, medium is edgelord material, but I enjoy the heavy one.
Maybe someday we get actual, functional armour as well. Not being snarky, I’d genuinely be thrilled. I enjoy practical fantasy.
