    Remember kids - this is making a blanket assertion about - what several million people? - across all countries and culture worldwide. It’s a ludicrous asserting and part of the war on nuance.

      That’s how people feel about the regime’s muscle. Why are you surprised?

      Cops are the enecomy of the people even though they provide some useful services… sometimes on a good day.

      Many times they abuse their power and the working people are fucking tired of it.

        I agree with much of what you say. I just think it’s purile to claim that anyone, anywhere in the world who takes a job enforcing laws society has enacted is automatically a bastard.

        Most importantly, it shuts down discussion about what a good police service looks like and how police services should be reformed or built from the ground up, because it says that just, effective law enforcement is inherently impossible because ‘all cops are bastards’
