For a long time, Googling ‘Jew’ would return Jewwatch.org, a prominent antisemitic website as the top result.
People accused Google of antisemitism for putting it at the top of the results, but they explained that most people who are searching for normal results tend to use the words Jewish or Jewish person, while those who search ‘Jew’ on its own tended to be looking for antisemitic websites.
So there may be some truth. While not technically antisemitic, it can sound that way
Naah, that wasn’t what his problem was, as he was the one referring to “jews”. His issue started when he was corrected regarding capitalisation of the very same word and claimed for whatever reason that it is antisemitic. Orthography must be antisemitic now.
But he was one of the morons claiming it is wrong to compare Israel to Nazis so probably everyone is antisemitic for him 🙄
I really hate the idea that calling someone a Jew is anti-Semitic. Just call me a Jew, ffs. Jewish person if that’s your style but don’t switch it up on my account cause idgaf. I swear if we keep this up I’ll have to refer to myself as a Person of Jewishness by 2030
