This morning was the second day in a row I went on a 2.5 mile hike with the doggo. I have a few neat parks by me and this one has a stream with two small waterfalls.

Obviously it’s only the second day, but I hope to keep it up. This hilly 2.5 mile loop burns about 800 calories according to Alltrails, and I did manage to lose quite a bit of weight the last time I hiked regularly.

I highly recommend hiking, it can be as easy or as hard as you like, and it is a great way to get some quiet time to yourself if that is something you are craving.

    I always find it really hard to just go out and simply go around for “nothing”, but once im out there its the best thing in the world

    Don’t forget to tick check yourself! And obviously make sure your dogs have their meds.

    That’s a beautiful wood, though. Particularly adore your waterfall.

    The waterfall looks beautiful, what a great place to unwind! I always love bringing my hammock with me on hikes. It’s a great way to take in all of the sights and sounds of the forest, especially if you ever try any longer hikes and need to take a break for a few minutes. I highly recommend finding one if you’re trying to spend more time outdoors.
