Hello! Thanks for your suggestion, however, the current logo is designed to fit in with the visual identity of Lemmy.world, the instance hosting our community. I’d only update it to improve the quality (higher resolution, tweaking visibility, etc) or to adapt it into a new identity in case Lemmy.world and it’s communities also adopt a new style.
If the Kbin + Lemmy mix became the standard, I’d be happy to adopt the new logo.
I replied to this via the connect app but it has disappeared, it seems, so second attempt;
Thanks for letting me know you’d use the logo, I appreciate that.
I understand your motivation not to use it now. However, I was inspired by the line “Welcome to the Minecraft community on Lemmy and Kbin” in the sidebar
Your logo is great - I really appreciate it. But yes, while I would like to make Kbin users very welcome, and we are still the largest Minecraft community, I’d prefer not to deviate from Lemmy.world’s design.
During the first month of Reddit user migration, communities that looked like they “fit in” made users feel more at ease.

Ah, you’re preparing for the next wave!
Yes! One of our mods actually comes from the subreddit, though I believe they’re currently inactive on Lemmy.
On that note, do PM me if you’re looking into becoming a mod here in /c/Minecraft.
Thank you. I was inspired by the text in the description;
‘’‘Welcome to the Minecraft community on Lemmy and Kbin!’‘’
