I can definitely say as a not-great actor who voice acted in a small indie game that shall remain unnamed for the sake of my internet privacy, I also took my theatre skills to voice acting, although I had no motion-capture going on ;) And hey, at least the headline isn’t wrong and it’s uplifting for lots of people. Tale as old as time, but new kids growing up need to hear it with names they know too.
