Do you think gay pride started so gay people could show off all their advantages and privilege in life? The whole point is that people who are different deserve no less respect and dignity than the rest of society and shouldn’t have to try to hide themselves in shame. You don’t have to observe it though if it doesn’t appeal to you. It’s opt-in, not opt-out.
no, but i think its nothing to be proud or happy about and i rather fight my issues than accept them and become even more abnormal, not to say wrong. :(
