recently my pc witch i have had for about 1.5 years now just started hard freezing like this and would be like this for 5-6 minutes
the problem
after 4 or 5 days i fixed it and found out it was corrupted windows files that crashed whenever I would launch a game that uses EAC. after doing a clean install of windows everything worked fine, and what not until i started playing Tarkov recently, and now my pc will do a quick restart when i either load into a raid, load out of one, or just sit in stash. but for some reason NEVER in a raid, and even though i have tried undervolting my cpu and running stress test for all my components so i know that my components aren’t the reason. The “restaring” of the pc is just both my screens go black, well one goes green for some reason but other than that they go black for a second then the pc just restarts and i am back into windows in just 6 or 7 seconds witch is faster then just restarting normally.
now i have no idea if it is the anti cheat that is acting up but event viewer doesn’t give any help other than stating that “the pc shut down improperly”, i got to also say that my pc has only crashed when playing tarkov, and to my knowledge and what i have found windows itself is fine, other games don’t crash my pc, would it be possible the problem is still corrupted windows files, i have reinstalled tarkov and it still crashes but yeah i am just lost at this point
