I’ve seen a handful of posts mentioning swipe to upvote/downvote being one of the greatest things found in other clients and seems to be the one big feature missing here.
I love my Boost (so glad it came over) and paid for ad removal, but browsing on Voyager or Sync is much more fluid and helps me contribute to Lemmy more often, something I’d love to do with Boost.
If it’s being worked on, apologies. If not, I hope it gets added to the queue!
If this is added please make it a toggle, this feature not being on toggle in the other apps is why I stuck with Jerboa

I despise swipe voting
Don’t know if I’m just swiping weird but with Sync I frequently accidentally upvoted or saved a comment because my vertical swipe motion was interpreted as a horizontal one by Sync. Definitely need a toggle for a feature like that.
Happened to me every time with Voyager. I deactivated all swipe features because of that.

I absolutely hate swipe actions. I just want swipe to go back to the previous page.
Seriously. Sync has the option to change swipe actions, but disabling entirely wasn’t one of them. I’m fine with it as a feature, just let me turn it off entirely.
The dev is one of those people that thinks swipe navigation is the future and won’t give the option to turn it off because that doesn’t adhere to the future standard, and that people just need to learn to deal with it.
100% there are enough actions tied to swiping already, adding more just means I do the wrong one every time.

Yeah, swipe actions on posts and comments like in Relay for Reddit would be a dope option.
Would love to see this added to Boost.
I used Sync while waiting for Boost to be ready, and really grew to like the swipe voting, but overall prefer Boost.
If this gets added I hope it’s optional, because I really don’t like it. I came across this feature in several Lemmy apps and and almost every time I scroll vertically the app registers it as scrolling horizontally and suddenly I’m up- or downvoting or even bookmarking a random comment.
