For most people who are flying transit is a bad answer since getting luggage on a bus/train is tricky. They would pay a cab or take the hotel shuttle. Once they are there they should use transit from the hotel, but it isn’t as useful to the airport as it seems.

There are a lot of people who work at an airport who should take transit, so transit to airports is good, but not really for travelers.
