Oh for fuck sake. Twenty projects just lost their editor configuration, just by updating intellij to a MINOR point release.

    Configs are usually not overwritten but the old settings is copied to a new folder set. Your old settings aren’t gone and you can downgrade your IDE so it will use the old settings.

      Thanks, and yes, the idea folders inside the projects still existed, so did the general config folder of intellij.
      I downgraded and got my configs back. So not too much lost.
      What bothered me that, all sdk’s, virtualenv, color settings, themes, plugins, everything was back at the defaults.
      Some projects require several different virtual envs because of library versions.
      It took days to get that configured the way it suited me. And then see it all gone by a simple upgrade…
