Anime Music Video is fan made video created using anime frames and any music. Professionally made music videos (including anime openings and endings) and original animation music videos are not AMVs, use [Official] and [MV] instead.

MAD

MADムービー (occasionally M@D) is more general concept then AMV. Usually they use original pictures and effects more often than anime clips. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if a video belongs to the MAD or AMV, so if you not sure give preference to AMV.

音MAD

音MAD (otoMAD) is a genre of MAD movies that uses a media source with sound as the foundation of music.

Clip

Short (up to 5 minutes) unedited excerpt from an anime episode.
