My Singapore friend (who escaped to Germany because of stuff like this) says companies can and do just put all kinds of shit like this into contracts, and people take it because they feel like they have no choice.
Do they actually have a different choice? Do these companies get prosecuted by the government or are they just tolerated?
(Just adking out if interest. I really have no idea about political situations in Singapore.)
