I remember reading about this on Bluesky. Nice to see a more forward MC, and pleased to see a bridged BlueSky! I was doing that with mine. Last I actually checked, I don’t think Mastodon was bridging my BlueSky over so I have to check that.

Q: Why is this needed?

A: TL;DR: We have had to start over a lot due to instances dying.

First, otome on Lemmy/Mbin started with Kbin, at !otomegames@kbin.social, which went down when kbin.social had federation issues and eventually went down.
Then we moved to !otomegames@kbin.run, which went down when kbin.run unexpectedly vanished.
So we moved again to !otomegames@ani.social, where we can hopefully stay. If not, we jump to…
