    Just buried the GNOME with Plasma and am quite chipper rn. Chipper as in wood chipper.

    Cosmic DE is supposedly a food mix between GNOME’s nearly zealous anticonfiguration stance and KDEs “configure everything” stance. It might see more uptake after it becomes stable. But I doubt it’ll convince the “I want an Apple UI and UX” club.

      COSMIC is a decent middle ground but I find it a bit heavy/slow for what it can do right now. The option for stacked and tiling is nice, the customization is lacking and is no where near KDE but it’s slightly better than gnome, slightly.

        It is still in the beta, so there’s a lot that can still change. I’m actually not sure whether they have a release date in mind.
