Only makes sense for half the population though. Chances of you making it 9 months through an illness while a bunch of your body’s resources are dedicated to growing another life are basically 0. Not to mention you’re very likely to grow a weaker offspring. Evolution doesn’t really work that way unless only men get hornier when feeling shit.
