I just played Diablo IV for about 2 hours with my friend. We’re a party of 2 and we’re playing on the harder of the two unlocked difficulties. Is it just me, or is this game really easy? I feel like I’m just running past enemies or left-clicking until everyone is dead. Is this normal or are there settings I can adjust to make this game more challenging?

That’s a big time commitment for someone who works full-time. I don’t want to play a full campaign before I get to enjoy the game :/

It’s an ARPG. They are meant to be grindy. You are going to get level capped at 50 so try to finish the campaign around that time. There is new content right after beating the campaign like Helltides. I find these fun and the mystery chests can drop some decent gear.

Edit: the game isn’t meant to be rushed. In Endless you can take all the time you want. Play what your time allows. Seasons will be a different issue but skipping means you’ll miss out on some achievements, some skins and maybe extra stash tabs. We’ll see - they may end up selling some of this in the store. As long as it isn’t pay to win and people with limited time can skip ahead on QoL (extra stash, cosmetics), I’m fine with it.
