    Or just use SnapDrop in the browser and save yourself the hassle of downloading a binary or script. You can use the official snapdrop.net instance or host your own.

    Just open the site on the device you want to send from and send to and you’ll pop up just like on AirDrop.

    SnapDrop uses WebRTC thus it’s all encrypted and peer-to-peer. It will use a signaling server to establish the connection but after finding your peer via the signaling server, all comms and file transfer is done P2P.

    Other thing I like about SnapDrop? It’s only a few hundred lines of JS. I literally read the whole thing before I started using it.
