The aircraft that I co-owned with two other people for a couple of years, and on which I flew about half of my total flight hours. A small and humble Morane-Saulnier M.S. 880 B-D, marketed as the Socata Rallye 100ST. A few years ago, the engine was due for an overhaul, but we lacked the funds, so we sold it for scrap to our maintenance shop. I did lots of photo flights with it, among other things for the German #BigBrotherAwards. Powered by a 100 hp Continental O-200 engine, license-built by Rolls-Royce, it has modest performance, typically cruising at 85 knots, but it is a benign, stable platform with fabulous short-landing capabilities (and, with a bigger engine, also impressive short-takeoff). Music: Impact Lento by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) and Lern to Fly (Instrumental) by Josh Woodward.
My first video on peertube, but actually an old film I previously published on YouTube.
