    It remains unclear when passengers will actually be able to board the first high-speed train. Sources suggest each segment could take seven to eight years to build.

      In Canada I am hearing about TGV in the “windsor-quebec corridor” for more than 30 years. While in Europe they have TGV for 44 years…

        They have the population and don’t have the car pressure. (ie, it’s difficult to travel outside of the major cities if you don’t have a car)
