Hey friends, I just bought a ASUS Nvidia 5060 ti prime at a store closing sale. I have bazzite installed on my gaming PC and switching out it’s old nvidia gpu with the 5060 worked out mostly fine but I seem to have the blank screens on reboot problem that requires a VBIOS/firmware update. Issue is I cannot run the tool or ASUS’s tool because both are made for windows. Is there a recommended way to fix this issue in linux? I found some references to a tool called “nvflash” but there’s many sources with that name and I am not confident to just try one. Also I’m not sure which VBIOS/firmware version I need. I spent hours at this point trying to find a way to temporarily have windows (windows live usb?) just to run one of these tools but I cannot find a way that works for that either, outside of installing windows over my bazzite install. Any suggestions welcome.
