I’ve created and account in programming.dev. When I search for a community, sometimes I don’t find in when I search in programming.dev but I find it in lemmy.world
Each instance has to have at least one subscriber to the second instance for it to start syncing.
If there are no subscribers, put the url of the second instance in the search on the web interface for the first instance, subscribe, and you’ll be the first person to get it syncing
Also could be bugs. :p

Just copy the url of the comnunitybin it’s home ibstance and paist it into your instances search bar, making sure to set the search to “all” not “local”. After that it should show up in searches and you can subscribe.
Go to lemmyverse.net/communities. Click on the house icon at the top right and type in programming.dev. Now search for any community and click on its name to open it up in programming.dev to subscribe to it.
