How many Republican senators ran their campaigns on being anti-interventionist and against unnecessary and expensive wars?

Watch as everyone who voted for them supports this direct, illegal, unnecessary “intervention”. Fucking feckless losers.

Trump’s first presidency, he ran on making Saudi Arabia pay and then as soon as he took office he became besties with them and all his voters didn’t blink. His voters are at cunts and actually worse than him. So I wish the worst for all of them as this country falls.

Democrats senators were given a detailed 920 page write up about what Trump was going to do when he took office and they didn’t give two fucking shits to run a formidable presidential campaign against him.

Imperialism aside, yeah, that is his biggest problem, it’s called an act of war and that may or may not be justified which is, ideally, what Congress is supposed to determine.

The fact that the military followed these orders is the inevitable consequence of neoliberal/con cowardice and collaboration in Iraq. That a president can unilaterally invade another country and be obeyed by the military is the real scary shit.

Congres has no right to determine the legality of kidnapping Maduro. It is the job of the ICC who issue arrest warrant and for arresting him you need the UN security council approval not the congres approval . If the congress said he was legal he would support the kidnapping

It sure does, it’s called declaring a war and going for a decapitation strike.

What, you think Stalin wouldn’t have loved to put Hitler on trial in the Soviet Union? Turns out you can, in fact, put heads of state on trial for crimes against your citizens…

          Kangaroo court optional, but traditional.

There we go with the annoying self righthous american mentality. International laws prohibit the kidnapping of another country president.

Would you be ok with the vietnam and iraq war if the congress approved it too?
