    One person’s text alone – almost surely no effect.

    However, it is actually even common that political decisions are affected by a large amount of people voicing some kind of an opinion. The important thing is that as many people as possible voice their opinion. Their own opinion, in their own words. Whatever common denominators can be recognized in those opinions, start to really gain significance.
