What’s the mistake and why does it seem common?
This is pretty hard to explain to people who can’t read arabic but i will try my best. Arabic is a right-to-left script, which its letters connect based on the location. There are four shapes for most letters, isolated, beginning, middle and end. These two things are absolutely necessary and are not able to be ignored, otherwise you’re writing non-sensical arabic
There’s a very common mistake with games/websites/any software tbh, where the devs mistakenly render Arabic as LTR and all letters are isolated, basically breaking the two rules i mentioned above; and it makes it completely incomprehensible, i struggled to translate this in another comment above. It would be as if someone wrote a latin-script language like english, but RTL in reverse, but somehow worse, since the latin script doesn’t have connected letters it’s much easier in that regard.
There’s a simple website that explains this exact widespread bug, but i can’t remember what it’s called. If i find it, i will edit this comment to link it
