Once I heard “He has some sugar in the tank” referring to a gay guy. It absolutely cracked me, couldn’t stop laughing for minutes.

Was at the local gay bar, a friend finished up talking with an acquaintance, sits down at the table, and starts dusting off his shoulders and shirt.

      “Did I get it all?”

      “There’s nothing on you.”

“Oh, good. He’s lovely but he spits tinsel.”

One of my old teachers once called my classmate a “strange snail”.

He looked so proud of his “nickname”.

      Same.

I’m pretty sure this means ‘interacts with adults as if they were also an adult’ (yay mirroring).

This is also one of the reasons that some adults see ND children as ‘rude’ - they don’t like being interacted with as an equal instead of a superior.

I have long suspected I’m on that spectrum, though never had anything one look into it, certainly no ‘official diagnosis’.

            I’ll check it out! Thanks!

Was told I was “very aloof,” which was a huge compliment to me as a 5 year old cause it sounded like a cloud and clouds are awesome. Wasn’t till I was married I realized it was supposed to be a negative remark.
