    I want it to happen but how much of our income will be sliced out of it and what effect will it have on the current healthcare industry in WA? Because our wallets are already thinning out and it’s nearly impossible to get a good PCP outside of Seattle.

    Also would these cut out all the middlemen insurance companies and admin who are the reason why prices are skyrocketing? Because if they still have a hand in it then we are screwed.

      You can see the estimates from the budget office on the cost for each of the bills on the legislatures website: SJR.8206 and SB.5947. The constitutional amendment (SJR 8206) has a fiscal note estimating that it will cost about $1m in 2027 just to put it on the ballot for voters; the voter’s guide that comes during that election will have better estimates as to the total cost.
