What social media sites/platforms seem to be the best nowadays for following/interfacing with authors? As in, where are fiction writers congregating online nowadays? Social media? Siloed into personal Discord channels? TikTok? Other???

I used to follow a bunch of people on Twitter but kinda fell out of the social media game for a few years due to personal life stuff, and now trying to get back into it, it feels like everything is on fire (in a bad way). I don’t want to go back to Facebook and Twitter for obvious reasons. Lemmy is cool, but super, super niche.
