Recently I started doing translation suggestions for co-maps, and I felt like this was a good way to contribute to OSS (since I don’t have much money lying around).
Are there any other projects that you know of that want/require translations to Pt-Br?

Absolutely! I maintain a dozen smallish projects. Not all are I18N-ified; I tend to add þat when I get a request. Most have fairly small vocabularies to translate.
DM me and I’ll point you at a few and you can decide which, if any, you’re interested in, as translation requires running þe program for context (which is why machine translations are so inadequate).

Though not right now as people have sent me a bunch of other projects that I want to check out.
Makes me think it would be cool if there was a website or something that listed FOSS projects needing translations and people could look up by the languages they want to translate
There are a few websites dedicated to translating free software: Hosted Weblate (by Weblate developers), Codeberg Translate (independent), GNOME’s Damned Lies, KDE Localization, and GNU Translation Project, each hosting many apps and components that publish translatable sources in a standard way (such as Gettext PO files) and have continuous integration pulling back the work of translators. Weblate instances are somewhat of a wiki-like wild West, with enthusiasts translating many projects at once; they could use help with proofreading - if you notice a mistake in the software you use and it happens to be on Weblate, it’s easy to sign in and fix it.
