When I click on screensharing I do get the options to choose framerate, resolution, and window/monitor. But it just doesn’t do anything.
A friend of mine on Arch also tried Fluxer and has the same issue.
Is screen sharing on Linux just broken right now, or are we doing something wrong?
It’s a problem in their appimage. I haven’t investigated why it happens and how to solve it though. Tomorrow I’ll see if i can do anything about it and let you know.
Figured out that streaming seems to work fine through browsers. But there’s still no audio, despite the audio toggle being available.
Not working on win11 either, confirmed on multiple different devices.
I bet they just disabled it to keep their server bandwidth in check until self hosting is finally available again.
It works through the web browser. Without audio, though, at least on Linux.
