It was a good attempt but I don’t know why they didn’t just get younger actors to fill the roles. De Niro looked so awkward and they tried to compensate his age with glowing blue eyes that just looked really bad.
The scene where he beats up the shopkeeper is particularly bad. De Niro looks like he’s about to fall over every time he kicks the guy and it looks like my 85 year old grandfather walking.
