Tons of older people say shit like this. Nothing they can do or say to impress or convince people. So they have to think of something to give them and their ideas relevance. i’m beginning to realize a main aspect of the boomer mentality, which is divorced from actual age or generation, is an unwillingness to acknowledge that someone younger than you may be more informed. it’s so silly. there are teenagers who are way smarter than me and that’s just how the world is.
