I’ve been using https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eF19dUvZ6ic&pp=ygUQcGxleCBwcmVyb2xscyA0aw%3D%3D for a while and I love it!
I’ve never used a pre roll and really don’t understand the point. Maybe I should try it just for fun.
They’re dumb, but in a fun way. I created my own preroll video with some music and a silly title card. For me it’s a fun way of celebrating the work I put into my setup (again – I use a very dumb video), but also Plex’s preroll logic alludes me. It doesn’t run all the time.
Mostly, however, I have trailers play ahead of my movie. It’s a good way of remembering what else is on my server.
edit: also why, for the love of god, does Plex not pre-buffer the movie during either pre-roll or trailers? It makes no sense!
I’m working on uploading all 52 of my prerolls to my Peertube channel. It’s a slow process as it’s one at a time, but it’s a good collection I’ve been working on for a while!
These are awesome! Thank-you. Is there a way to download these from Peertube?
Not directly. There’s a workaround in another thread
I have them rotate randomly and seasonally but my favorite is probably the Mr. Burns “Let’s all go to the lobby” one
