Not a lot of progress yesterday. Did some reading of Architecture of a Database System. There’s a lot more going on under the hood of a DBMS than I realized.
Completed 3 of 6 Grouping and Sorting exercises in the Pandas course.
Read more of Architecture of a Database System, but I didn’t comprehend it all (not sure if the authors are assuming some prior knowledge or their promised further explanation about the details of Disk I/0 buffers [Database I/O, Log I/O Requests] in later chapters will clear things up.
