If the people of Türkiye elected a new leader who had the same values as Ataturk, I think you would very quickly find a nation that would be a worth addition to the EU.
In Germany they don’t mix well at all. Don’t see a reason why it should be different in other parts of Europe. Sweden for example is also having serious political turmoils due to muslim immigrants and the huge cultural differences they bring.
