Show me what you’ve got!

Personally, I was offered a giant plate with lots of different belegte Brötchen last week, beautifully arranged. As a German abroad (and too lazy to make it myself) I wolfed down three pieces with Mett before even looking at the other options. Not even a little bit ashamed. My non-German partner was slightly grossed out.

If that doesn’t convince you, I still have a German liability insurance despite not living in Germany for 5+ years.

As a pedestrian I stop at a red traffic light, even if it looks safe to cross regardless. My resolve does get tested when people just walk by me to cross anyway, which happens a lot (I live in Sweden, currently on vacation in France).

Excellent! Even if it is the middle of the night in bumfuck nowhere, you never know when a child might be watching, right? Even if it is a creepy child in the middle of the night on an empty road. It is important to set a good example!

Funny thing is, this kind of bowl has been popular all over Central Europe, Eastern Europe and even South Korea. And in each of these regions, people keep believing that this bowl was typical of their country.

Today, I paid for lunch in cash, even though the restaurant accepted card. Exact change. And it was over 10€, but I paid only using coins.

If you don’t use your indicators when exiting a traffic circle, I hope that your sleeves will come down when you wash your hands.
