And it’s your fault if you choose to get punished.

I watched their segment on the Tactician difficulty. It was hard and brutal. They said the AI of the mobs were increased and they would take any advantage in the area.

I’ll stick to the regular mode. But again, this game says the choice is there if you want it.

Given the relative simplicity of 5e it shouldn’t be quite as difficult as Kingmaker or WotR Unfair difficulty, but if it’s even close it will be a ton of fun.

I wonder if the improved tactics the enemies employ will resemble those from the start of early access. Game was a death trap for casters.

I remember when I first played all the enemies just immediately attacked Gale or whoever was the weakest. It was pretty brutal to keep Gale alive lol

Casters are low hit point. My wizard died a few times when I was learning to play. I was playing on normal difficulty.

I played Solasta: Crown of the Magister. They are a very small company and did a great job with the D&D 5e rules. I had a blast playing it. So, I am looking forward to BBG3 with all the bells and whistles that Larian brings to the D&D game. It is going to be great.

I’m somehow just learning about this game recently but I’m so hyped. It sounds pretty much perfect. I’m worried I may be overhyping it though so I’m trying to keep myself in check lol

I have played Larian Studio’s other 2 games: Divinity Original Sin 1, and 2. Both games from a small Indy company, but the detail and quality of the games was beyond expectations. So when the announced they got the rights to do Baldur’s Gate 3, I bought the early access game as soon as it was available. These are good people who love gaming and making games. Love Sven too.

This game is going to be awesome.
