In !superbowl@lemmy.world many posts have a lot of pictures. Most of them are loaded correctly, but sometimes I only see a small obj placeholder. If I collapse/expand the comment with the picture, it is shown.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Yeah I’ve known about this bug for a while but it’s difficult to consistently reproduce so I’ve not had a fix yet. Unfortunately I am currently sick. I’ll test with that community once I feel better.
Took a while to investigate the issue and a while longer to figure out a good fix. i think I have a good compromise. The fix will completely get rid of the issue but there is a small performance penalty. Hopefully it’s not a big deal :D
