Pretty much what the title says. I’m thinking about making hide post a feature but I’m not sure how people want it to behave. Should the post be hidden forever or just until refresh? Or would people prefer a mark as read swipe instead?

I got 3 completely different answers to this question so I guess there isn’t really a consensus on the best way to do this. I kinda already spent the time to implement it as hidden forever though. To not have that work be wasted, I’m going to just add a toggle between mark as read vs hidden forever. Wasn’t planning on making gestures configurable this early on but ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Hidden until refresh should be the default IMO with a toggle to make it hidden forever. (Keep the hide read FAB button)
Hidden forever, but honestly if it’s feasible, allow users to make the choice. Add toggle settings for each option.
I’ll implement the feature first and make it configurable later.
