I liked it same that way, but Netflix being Netflix forced romantic plot just for the sake of having it, as far as Wednesday goes, 1991/1993 one is irreplaceable.
Yeah totally, forced romance is so cringe and especially when the character is Wednesday fucking Adams. Imo they could at least have made characters have a crush on her but never succeeding that could have been funny and more logical
