In fact, if you moved $8,000 dollars—the median balance for US customers—the reduction in your indirect emissions would be twice that of the direct emissions you’d avoid if you switched to a vegetarian diet.

Cool. I didn’t even know that some of these banks were “green.”
Of course it’s important to keep in mind the most green is probably to not bank at all – something I’m experimenting with myself. Then the only notable GHG would be from the armored cars.
