4. Shortbread (as one-quarter of my family tree is from Scotland and I like on the rare occasion I manage to visit Scotland)
Shortbread is an odd one. I think the country is flooded with too much poor quality shortbread. For something that has so few ingredients, it’s surprising how these companies screw them up. But great shortbread is heavenly, and add lemon into the mixture, oh yes!
