Where the hell did the idea of tipping your landlord come from, anyway? I’ve heard a few people in recent years bring it up as if it was an actual thing, and I’m just like WTF?

NGL I thought this image was supposed to be the landlord pulling bags of money that the tenants paid by what each says.

No that doesn’t make much sense, but I seriously have a hard time conceiving of any scenario where a landlord is supposed to be shown in a sympathetic light.

    Fuck landlords.

Well, I’m going to say that in some cases landlords are just the usual people who were a bit luckier. I don’t think that applies to most of places with a high price for living and/or housing, but I have a friend that technically was a landlord while he finished his education and lived in dormitory he lended his newly finished apartment in a neighboring town.

What I’m trying to say, I think, is that not for everyone being a landlord is a lifestyle

Tbh the problem isn’t the individuals who happen to be landlords, it’s the system of landlordship where someone can own someone else’s home and make profit off of their lives. Just because you live and act within a system that doesn’t make you the problem. You can be a massive anti-capitalist and still need the money to buy food.

Those poor landlords with their millions of dollars and dozens of apartment complexes they own.

Also, why the fuck would I ever tip a fucking landlord? Why do I have to tip at all? Why am I the asshole for not giving money to an employee? Why isn’t the boss an asshole for not paying their employees enough to live?
