    I just saw this, very bad move. I guess there is a lot of people playing League of Legends on Linux without any problems and now they won’t be able to play it. Locking it for one operating system. Thanks China I guess (Since tencent owns Riot Games, sadly)

      Quite disappointing indeed. Guess it’s time to go touch some grass now :(
      Bad move for us, but good one for them probably. There aren’t enough people on linux for it to even show in their revenue. However, this will lead to reduced smurfing, since people won’t be able to buy botted accounts for $1 anymore. With more people playing on their mains, I assume that’ll be an incentive to spend more on skins (since nobody buys skins on their smurfs).

        Yeah, they already ditched/are ditching windows for distros like kylin and unity.
