That reminds me of being invited to my local gentleman’s club - think political and businesses leaders sitting around in dusty libraries with wingback chairs, whiskey, and fine dining - women reluctantly allowed, but only if accompanied and only in certain areas. The one non-white person I’ve seen there (out of a couple of hundred) was on the wait staff… And was ethnically Vietnamese - but born and raised in Sweden.
